The Bilkent Composition Academy is an international summer composition workshop. It aims to connect emerging composers with professionals, academics, and performers in the music industry. The first edition of the Academy featured renowned composer Mark Andre, who worked closely with active participants. Their compositions were rehearsed and performed by the resident Hezarfen Ensemble in the final concert. The Academy also included seminars, workshops, round table discussions, and individual classes conducted by faculty professors.
